I'm sure my gran: Agnes Holmes (nee O'Grady) would have lived in Newtown before moving to Sandon Place. How can I find this out please?

Given that all we grew up around is now gone the Vulcan is the last bastion of our great community and should be preserved either where it is in Adam St or the Welsh Folk museum. Stepping inside that little pub is like stepping back to the past. I would encourage anyone who was familiar with the place to step inside and experience the feeling of almost going back in time. It's uncanny and brings a lump to the throat. I have contacted the WFM and would ask others to do likewise as I belive the place will be pulled down and complete the work started back in 1966 that tore us apart and spread us across the city without so much as by your leave. Criminal it was!
