Apologies if this has been raised previously. It occurred to me that all of Newtown has not been swept away. There are still those council houses in Tyndall Street near to where St Pauls church stood. I wonder if the current residents use 'Newtown' as part of their postal address? Should they not be invited to the reunions as people who still live in Newtown?

I noticed that my cousin Francene Gardner was trying to contact me. I have added my email address if you can access it. If not, leave a message here and I'll respond. Thanks.

This is my first visit to this site. I saw a post by Nick Barry who referred to a book that mentioned my late dad: Danny Brosnan. The book was written by a George Fullner ( may be incorrect spelling of surname) George was a regular visitior to out house in Sandon Place and the book: Death and Donkey's Breakfast was about the terrible hardships endured by British seafarers, Donkey's Breakfast refers to a bunk mattress stuff with straw that the sailor had to provide himself. George was a real character and good friend to my dad as both were seafarers. Although I did not live in Newtown (we were the posh part over the railway line) I have fond memories of the place. I attended St David's between 1962 - 1971. Anyone remember me?
